Q: My credit card is declining, now what?

A: Once in awhile we have customers who can not figure out why we need billing information or does not quite understand how credit cards online work, or just do not feel comfortable placing an order online using a credit card.

Go ahead and act as if you are going to place an order. Fill in your name, address, phone number, email address as well as shipping information (or check the box at the bottom).

Go to the next screen. This is where you would choose a credit card Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover, there is one more option in the drop down menu....phone order. Choose phone order, submit the order, then give us a call, Let us know you are shopping on Haga's Gift Store Site, with your credit card information.

This saves time on both ends, since we will have a copy of the potential order, we will not have to go through and say item numbers and tally up costs. All we will need when you call in (assuming all information was entered correctly) is the date you placed the order, whether it is Visa, Discover, American Express or Mastercard, the number of the card, expiration date, and card code on the back of card..
 
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

Haga's Gift Store accepts:

PayPal - US Account only, you can use your checking account and pay with PayPal also. Please note we only ship to the confirmed address in PayPal when PayPal is used as payment method.

Q: Do you accept Purchase Orders?

A: Sorry no we do not for the gift store.
 
Q: What is the 3 or 4 Digit Code on my Credit Card?

A: 3 Digit Security Number: Where you sign the back of your credit card there is a number on the line. The 3-digit security number is the last 3 numbers on the card.

For American Express it is the 4 digits on the front of the card.

This number is used to cross reference your billing address on file with your credit card company.
 
Q: How do I navigate this website?

A: Just start browing using the menu at the side of the page. On each page we will have links to similar items in that catagory as well.

All of your information is confidential and we never send out unsolicited mail of any kind.

Addresses, phone numbers, email addresses are kept on file with us, but are never used for anything other than if there is a question or problem with your order.

Q: Do you offer quantity discounts?

A: No our prices are as low as possible when ordering from Haga's Gift Store.
 
Q: Do you offer free shipping?

A: Sorry no we do not offer free shipping from Haga's Gift Store.
 
Q: What is your Refund Policy?

A: To receive a Refund: You can must contact us ahead of time, let us know what the problem is.

We offer a 30 day, money back guarantee, for any unopened packages that are returned.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, from this website.

Return shipping costs is the responsibility of the customer.

If we send a call tag for the item meaning we pay for shipping back to our company and we do not receive the item back you will be charged for the products.
 
Q: Can I exchange my items?

A: Sorry we can not offer exchange, except for flaws on product manufacturing.
 
Q: What is not eligible for Refunds?

A: Items that are not eligible for Returns are:

Holiday Items, Opened packages, Utensils, Monogram or Printed Orders, Special Orders
 
Q: How do you handle OUT OF STOCK items?

A: If something is on backorder, or OUT OF STOCK, we will attempt to contact you. Many times we are not able to get ahold of a customer and have to make a decission on how to handle the order to get it out the door in time for the party date.. this is one reason we ask for the party date.

We will try to call and leave a message. If we are not able to leave a message we will try to email you as well.

Many times we will go ahead and say something like, if we do not hear back from you by a specific date we will go ahead and refund the out of stock item and ship the rest. If most of the order is not available...we will leave a message stating we will refund the order if we don't hear back from you by a specific date.
 
Q: Can I pick up my order to avoid shipping costs?

If you live in or around the Hoopeston, Illinois area and would like to shop using the website, use the faxmail order form and call us at 283-5955 for the free shipping coupon code to deduct shipping costs from your order. This will give you the correct amount for your order.

NOTE: LOCAL RESIDENTS...Items from this site could be considered special order...therefore may not be available for immediate pickup.
 
Q: Do you accept Checks or Money Orders?

A: Yes, we gladly accept checks and Money Orders.

Please note we will hold the order until the check clears our bank so we would suggest for you to go ahead and use a Money Order. NO EXCEPTIONS! So please make sure you are ordering well in advance.

NSF (non-sufficient funds) checks are subject to a $25.00 fee.
 
Q: Do you ship outside the United States?

A: Sorry no at this time we do not ship outside the United States.
 
Q: Do you charge Sales Tax?

A: Residents of Illinois will be charged 6.5% sales tax.

If you are a business that resides in Illinois and are tax exempt we will need a copy of your TAX ID number on file.

If you are a not for profit organization in Illinois and are tax exempt we will need a copy of your exempt number.
 
Q: I see you have more than one website and you sell on Ebay. Do you combine purchases from the different sites?

A: Sorry no, we can not do that. There would be too much paper work. We price items accordingly to the website the items are listed on, on Ebay we have to pay seller fees, listing fees and other fees that are extra.

Every website runs as its own business. However our phone reps can answer questions about every site.
 
Q: What if something is on backorder?

A: You tell us how you would like the order handled.
 
Q: What is the fastest way to place an order?

A: Online ordering is the fastest way. However, if you feel uncomfortable placing orders online you can call in your order.

We do not take item numbers for phone orders. Note what the title of the party is and what items and how many items you are wanting. If it is a solid color item, not the color and the items. We do prefer you go ahead and place the order online using the phone order option then calling with your credit card information if you feel uncomfortable using your credit card online. This saves everyone time and money. There is a $5.00 phone order charge on all phone orders. To waive that $5.00 fee please follow these instructions
